Takuya Tamura

Born in 1992, lives in Shiga Prefecture, and has been a member of Yamanami Studio since 2011. He mostly uses markers as his art materials, and draws motifs of animals and people on postcard-sized to full-sized drawing paper. He first draws the overall picture, then carefully paints over the lines using different colors one by one. As he repeats this process , the squares are filled with vivid colors in a grid pattern. He repeats this process every day at the same time, in the same place, and with the same rhythm. He doesn't like to interact with people much and is always alone and quiet, but his expression as he looks at his paintings while he is creating gives off a hidden passion. His goal is to exhibit in many exhibitions, and he holds his pen in his hand today with a new exhibition in mind.

born in 1992/ living in Shiga/ working at YAMANAMI since 2011 Takuya Tamura prefers to be alone and quiet rather than be around people. Yet you can see his keen passion for art in the expression on his face when he creates. At the same time of the day, at the same place, and with an even attitude, he continues to work on his artworks. He likes to paint animals or people on both small and large sheets of paper. First, he draws the outline of the motif. And then he paints with colorful markers, making different colored and same-sized square patches inside the outline. Takuya Tamaru keeps creating in the hope of exhibiting his art works in many places.
